Seniors and Graduates say:

“Being part of the Diplomacy major has given me more than I could have imagined! It wasn’t just about studying it was much more than that, it gave me the ability to talk in front of crowds, share my opinions, learn about different cultures and much more. Not only did I learn how to use important skills through the lessons, being a part of Diplomacy also let me connect with a variety of amazing people that some I can even call friends that live throughout Israel. I am so happy I decided to learn Diplomacy, it benefited me so much and I still use many of the skills I’ve learned today, even after I’ve finished school.”- Daniel Shaked 2019

“The Diplomacy elective helped me become more expressive in my writing and thoughts as it does involve a lot of opinionated topics.  I also never felt stress in Diplomacy because there were a lot more projects rather than tests and Diplomacy was my last Bagrut exam and it was a nice way to finish”. –Eyal Shochat 2019

“In my years in the Diplomacy major I have learned valuable lessons and gained many useful skills. We learn to speak in front of people and give convincing speeches. I have also learned about conflicts and human-relations, diplomacy really is a varied subject. And of course, Michal and Dana who create a safe space for all and care about each and every one of their students. I also had the chance to participate in the Israeli-Palestinian Congress which broadened my views and allowed me to meet new and varied people and it is only one of the many interesting programs Diplomacy has to offer. It goes without saying that it is the perfect place to practice your English and that my writing and speaking skills have improved greatly since I joined. To sum up, if you enjoy broadening your mind and understanding the world better chose Diplomacy!”- Ayellet Boazi, 12th grade 2021

"The most meaningful activity the elective offered me is the Palestinian-Israeli youth congress. Once you take what you've learned in class into action in order to settle arguments and to make peace, it's very much satisfying.

With the help of what I've studied in class, I've been taught how to diplomatically express myself and pay attention to different types of methods to achieve certain goals”.-  Yoav Tamir 12th grade 2021

“The Diplomacy elective was the most meaningful and interesting subject I studied throughout my years in high-school. It improved my English greatly, and taught me to always open my head for new ideas. In the course of the major we studied many diverse topics, and had meaningful discussions about things that are happening in our world. In addition, there are always more options and different programs you can take part in, in order to develop your diplomatic skills. For example, I took a part in the MUN two years ago, which was an incredible experience. I sincerely recommend you to choose this elective, and can guarantee you will not regret it!”- Yuval Almozlinos 12th grade 2021

“I’m so happy that I chose Diplomacy as one of my electives. It taught me a lot about different people, different cultures, and many more important skills. Before I learned diplomacy I didn’t like talking and presenting in front of people, especially in English, but one of the things that got me through it was Diplomacy since we had projects that we were required to present. In addition, I was exposed to a new world that I didn’t know existed. We learned about conflicts and different types of theories and I truly enjoyed learning about it. I really liked the variety of different topics we learned. Also, diplomacy gave me an opportunity to talk English outside of English class and I see how my vocabulary has improved drastically. – Ziv Tavor 12th grade 2021
